This hike gives you a glimpse of the lake and one of the most scenic mountains in SARA Park. This hike is on a maintained trail with a few short steep upward/downward slopes. This is the perfect hike for families with smaller children, beginner hikers, and visitors who are not acclimated to the desert environment.
Hike time is roundtrip and includes a brief safety briefing and time for photo ops along the trail. Due to changes in the length of daylight, the start time for this hike ranges between 7am - 2pm. Leashed dogs allowed.

Backpacks, walking sticks and hiking poles are available for rent when you checkout.
Restrooms are in the main parking lot where this hike meets.
