Slot Canyon
Moderate / 3.5 miles / 2.5 hours / 1 liter (33 oz) water / $35 per person / $25 ages 10-15 / Free 9 and younger
The hike to the canyon reveals stunning towering rock formations as you narrow into the canyon. After emerging from the Canyon, you will catch a glimpse of Arch Rock and then immediately head back into the Canyon for the return trip. See Slot Canyon to Shore (below) for an extended experience of this hike. The Canyon is also known as SARA’s Crack.
Experiencing the Canyon requires utilizing a rope to navigate an 7-foot dry waterfall to descend into and ascend up from the Canyon, as well slight climbs over rock formations (see images below).
This hike is mainly navigated along a sandy wash, which takes more exertion than walking on a trail. There are no major trail inclines or declines on this hike. This is a great beginner hike and can also be perfect for families with smaller children, if the adults have capabilities and physical fitness to potentially carry children along portions of the hike, or if a adult and child would like to Enjoy the Moment.
The Enjoy the Moment option (see below) will be best for those who prefer to not navigate the dry waterfall.
Hike time is roundtrip and includes a brief safety briefing and time for photo ops along the trail. Due to changes in the length of daylight, the start time for this hike ranges between 7am-2pm.
Dogs must be harnessed to navigate the Canyon.

Slot Canyon to Shore
Moderately strenuous / 5 miles /4.5 hours / 2 liters (67 oz) water / $45 per person / $35 ages 10-15
Once you emerge from the Slot Canyon, you can proceed to strengthen your body and marvel at the desert landscape by continuing to walk along the wash until the gorgeous rock formations once again rise along a playful trail that opens to the epic blue waters of Lake Havasu.
Relax in the sun and enjoy the snack or light lunch that you brought while sitting along a rocky shoreline. After resting for 10 to 15 minutes, the hike will retreat along its incoming path to reveal a stunning view of Arch Rock, as well as a different perspective of the canyon walls by navigating the Canyon in the opposite direction. This hike is not recommended for youth younger than 10 years old.
